How are you doing? Today is the last day of January. We have started our journey together working on being alone without being lonely. So many people set goals in the month of December and try living them out in January. Having goals and creating purpose helps us deal with being alone.
Review your goals. How are you doing? Did you take in any information from the previous blogs about thinking how you want to feel in shaping your goals? Instead of reviewing how you did in meeting your goals, let’s review how do you feel? Are you feeling better or worse than the start of the month? If you don’t like how you feel, how do you want to feel?
If your feelings of loneliness are at times too much, how do you want to feel instead.
I want you to focus on 5 things you got right this month..what do you want to carry forward into February. Did you start a new project or were you good about planning your Sunday. Did you create a nice Saturday morning ritual to start Saturday off nice. Whatever it is, if works, acknowledge it and bring it forward.
Now let’s review the things, beliefs, feelings, behaviors and people in your life that you don’t want. We choose everything we have in our lives or choose how we deal with them.
What is the focus you want to have for February to address these things you don’t want.
Since I’m focused on being alone without being lonely I will be focusing on relationships in February. February is Valentines day and the month of love. Many people think relationships will solve their lonely problem. But in fact many people feel lonely in a relationship.
So come back in February. See you soon
